This beautiful Steiff bear is made of wavy rose-coloured mohair and has a delightful nose which has been crossways stitched by hand together with friendly, brown glass eyes. She is stuffed with kapok which is a special fibre made from the fruit of the tropical Kapok tree, also known as the 'silk cotton tree'. Kapok was used frequently at the Steiff company during the 1920's. You will immediately notice the special kapok stuffing technique the first time you hold one of these bears in your hands. It gives the bear not only its characteristic firmness but also a fascinating lightness.

In her ear she has an 'underscored button' made of patinated steel just as the original bear had.
